EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is used to work through and heal from unprocessed traumatic memories in the brain. This therapeutic intervention has been shown to work effectively with both children and adults. EMDR not only targets memories, it also targets our negative thoughts we carry with us and our body discomfort. Through this therapeutic process you can work to heal your whole self.
DBT
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is a therapy rooted in learning skills to create a life worth living. When using DBT, clients learn to improve mindfulness (awareness of the present moment), distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. All of which will improve your relationship with yourself and with others.
CPP
Child and Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) is used with children aged 0-5 who have experienced at least one traumatic event during their early development. The goal of CPP is to support and improve the relationship between a child and caregiver. Together we work to help the child maintain appropriate development and learn how to manage their emotions in a healthy way. For more information you can visit: childparentpsychotherapy.com
